The Intersection of Sound and Self

My work sits at the meeting point of technology, sound and consciousness. As a conscious tech pioneer, my perspective is shaped by lifelong implicit learning and professional work across four continents; this has refined my talents and deepened my understanding of human interconnectedness. In the now-time collective, I view myself not as a traditional creator but as a vessel for manifesting frequencies that already exist within the shared stream.

My background spans music journalism, including serving as Editor in Chief of a leading jazz magazine, running a jazz-based internet radio station, broadcasting, podcast production and work as a well-recognised voice-over narrator. These disciplines inform both lyric writing and technical execution from concept to delivery. My music composer prompt engineering developed naturally from this foundation; it allows me to translate the unseen into the audible.

I do not read notation or play instruments in the traditional sense. Instead, I rely on an intuitive musical sense that studio musicians recognise as a clear feeling for when music is right or wrong. As an accomplished scribe and lyricist, I build song lyrics brick by brick from three sources: my published reflections at MeditatingAstronaut.com, my quiet contemplative observations drawn from lived experience and the principles of The I.U.T.C.R. (The Interconnected Universe: A Unified Theory of Thought, Consciousness and Reality). This craft balances intuition with language, grounding each piece in narrative clarity and emotional precision.

My method follows a cycle of Intent and Discovery. I begin as Creative Director, translating core emotions, narratives and trusted intuition into precise technical parameters. I then engage critically with AI output by embracing serendipity and sometimes even incorporating happy accidents while refining through prompt chains. This partnership allows me to channel sound stripped of egoic claim: a state where the frequency is the message and the designer is the witness. While I retain publishing through M.A.M, the essence of the work belongs to the collective resonance.

Through M.A.M (Meditating Astronaut Music), my written contemplations become musical journeys where thought meets melody and each song serves as a bridge between written meaning and felt sound. Much of this creative outlet is guided by The I.U.T.C.R., which explores our interconnectedness and the power of thought as creative energy. This is supported by heart-mind coherence, NOW time and, most importantly, LOVE. The songs invite listeners to explore these ideas through accessible pathways that speak to feeling and foster expanded awareness.
